Square of 9 ("the app") is a number puzzle game published by Gann ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app uses, why, and the choices you have.
You don't need an account, and we don't ask for your name, email or any other personal details.
Your game progress and settings are stored only on your device.
The app shows ads from Google AdMob. Google may collect device information to show and measure those ads, as described below.
If you buy "Remove Ads", Google Play handles the payment. We never see your payment details.
The app saves your level progress, best times and moves, daily puzzle streak, hint usage, theme and sound/vibration settings, and whether you have purchased "Remove Ads". This information stays on your device and is not sent to us. Uninstalling the app deletes it.
Unless you have purchased "Remove Ads", the app shows banner, full-screen and optional reward video ads provided by Google AdMob. To deliver ads, measure their performance and prevent fraud, Google's software in the app may collect:
Information
Purpose
Device identifiers, such as your device's advertising ID
Showing ads, measuring ads, preventing fraud, and personalized ads where you allow it
IP address and approximate location derived from it
Showing relevant ads, preventing fraud
Ad interactions (for example, which ads were shown or tapped) and app diagnostics
Measuring ads, preventing fraud
This information is collected and processed by Google under Google's own privacy policy. We do not receive information that identifies you personally. Learn more at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and in the Google Privacy Policy.
Consent: If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland or another region where consent is required, the app asks for your choice before personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time under Settings → Privacy Settings in the app.
Advertising ID: You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your Android device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads, or Settings → Google → Ads, depending on your device).
Android ad privacy features: On newer Android versions, Google may also use Android's built-in ad privacy features (such as ad topics and ad measurement). You can turn these off in your device settings under Security & privacy → Privacy → Ads.
No ads: Purchasing "Remove Ads" turns off all ads in the app.
The optional "Remove Ads" purchase is processed by Google Play. Google handles your payment information under its own terms and privacy policy. The app receives only a confirmation of the purchase so it can remove ads and restore the purchase if you reinstall.
The app does not request access to your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, precise location or files, and it does not include its own analytics or tracking. We do not sell your information.
The app is intended for a general audience aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will help remove it.
Game data stays on your device until you uninstall the app or clear its data. Information collected by Google for advertising and purchases is kept according to Google's retention policies.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, or to object to certain processing. Because we don't hold personal information about you, most requests are best handled through the controls above or directly with Google. You are welcome to contact us with any question or request.
We may update this policy from time to time. The new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
